The Super Bee is nested in Classic Black Face Super Reverb Fullerton sounds with all the usable power needed for great tone and great fun in smaller environments (home studio, practice, etc.).

Carr wanted to achieve the classic Black Face Super Reverb tones at a lower wattage. This quest led them to the 6BM8 preamp/power tube.

The controls are simple, just a Volume knob, "Sting", Treble, Middle, Bass, and Reverb. The 3 position Sting gets you three options: 64 (based on Carr’s own ’64 Deluxe Reverb), 68 (classic medium-gain Super Reverb), and 72 (a blackface-style circuit modded to deliver extra drive and distortion).
