Collingsā goal in creating the I30LC was to build on the concept of a double-cutaway, P90-style hollowbody guitar, but to refine every aspect to create a unique, entirely new playing experience. The result is one of the most acoustically responsive and versatile electric guitars Collings has ever built.
The lightweight body features trestle bracing, developed after extensive R&D and knowledge gained from the popular I35 and Statesman LC guitars. The non-grained ivoroid body and neck bindings complement the flamed maple in a beautiful way. Lollar Dog Ear P90s are perfectly matched to the acoustic response of the instrument, offering a wide range of tones, from rich jazzy warmth to the British Invastion style of the 1960s.
A stately, tough and understated guitar with a true vintage hollow-body character! Including Ameritage hardcase with TFOA passport.
