The G5420T Electromatic Classic Hollow Body Single-Cut with Bigsby features a laminated maple body with vintage-inspired edges and refined arches, as well as brand-new trestle block bracing to reduce unwanted feedback. By increasing the stiffness and contact between the top and back of the body, the new trestle block design also results in a faster attack with more focus, snap, and increased sustain. Paired with the brand-new FT-5E Filter'Tron pickups, this hollow-body's tone explodes with a huge, full-bodied punch, classic chime, and improved presence, clarity, and note definition.
A brand-new classic "C"-shaped maple neck offers a more comfortable feel for improved playability and performance, and is topped with a 12-inch radius laurel fingerboard.
Lively and resonant, the G5420T also features a versatile, improved control layout, including master volume with treble bleed circuit, master tone, individual volume controls and a three-way switch, oversized F-holes, multi-layer body binding, a smaller, late-'50s G6120 headstock, vintage-style open-back tuners, Graph Tech NuBone nut, pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays, a safety Adjusto-Matic bridge, and a Bigsby B60 vibrato tailpiece.
