From their headquarters in Alphen aan de Rijn, the guitars are carefully given a beautifully aged look that gives the instrument a played-in feel. The Cozy is a modern and very pleasant to play guitar with a serious vintage vibe, and this Cozy wears an aged Ice Blue Metallic finish!
The Kauffmann Cozy is an original design, and combines vintage looks with an extremely comfortable playing feel. It is an offset guitar with a fairly large body, but despite its size it weighs less than 3 kilograms thanks to the lightweight Paulownia body. The body also has deep contours that feel comfortable against your body and give easy access to the higher frets. It has a quarter-sawn roasted maple neck for more stability and a smoother feel. The rosewood fretboard has a 9.5" radius that will suit most players.
Kauffmann has equipped this guitar with a set of Cream T The Duke P90's, a pickup that gives a real vintage sound because it is a clone of the pickups from a 1961 Gibson ES330. Of course, this Cozy also has a JM-style tremolo, and to ensure that it stays in tune, it is equipped with Halon hardware.
The guitar comes with a TFOA passport in a gig bag.
