The 1937-inspired 28-Style Authentic Collection rewards players with the tonal superiority of Martin's Authentic Series and the everyday practicality of a workhorse guitar. Featuring time-tested elements like Authentic bracing, hide glue, and cloth strip construction, this guitar continues the legacy of acoustic excellence, now enhanced with a thinner top for remarkable volume and the widest possible dynamic range within the rosewood instrument family.
In addition to its stunning Ambertone Burst finish, this 00028 also features the new "Low Gloss" finish. Without the heavy wear of a well-used instrument, the "Low Gloss" finish is inspired by those rare vintage instruments that were simply kept in their cases and tucked away for decades. It carries the marks of time without the battle scars seen on many vintage recreations.
