The tortoise binding gave way to black in 1966, but the pickguard remains tortoise because it did not change until later in 1967.

Multiple cracks on the top have been repaired with cleats on the inside, and a crack on the back of the body has also been repaired. Some material has worn away around the soundhole due to playing. The guitar has been refretted, and the radius was adjusted from a 12” to a 20” compound radius. In addition, the nut and the bridge saddle have been replaced.
Furthermore, this D18 displays the traces of time in a stylish manner, and thanks to the built-in LR Baggs Lyric, it is a true stage guitar!
